A Registered Counsellor is a mental health professional in South Africa, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), who provides accessible, supportive care within the community.
You can think of a Registered Counsellor as a first point of contact when you’re struggling, or simply need someone to talk to. Our role focuses on prevention and early support, helping you navigate challenges before they begin to feel overwhelming.
We offer short-term, supportive counselling for a range of concerns, including stress, life changes, emotional difficulties, and identity exploration. Support can also be offered during times of crisis, helping you feel more grounded and contained.
If more specialised or longer-term support is needed, we can guide you toward the appropriate professional, ensuring you receive care that best fits your needs.

I offer supportive individual counselling for children, adolescents, and adults navigating a range of emotional, relational, and everyday life challenges.
Support with managing stress, overwhelm, and difficult emotions, alongside building practical coping strategies.
Support in developing a more grounded sense of self and alignment with your values.
An open space to reflect on your sense of self, personal experiences, and the ways you relate to yourself and others.
A safe space that affirms diverse identities and experiences. Support for navigating identity, belonging, visibility, and self-acceptance.
A non-judgemental space to explore aspects of sexuality, intimacy, and relationships at your own pace, in a way that feels safe and comfortable for you.
A client-paced approach that prioritises safety, choice, and empowerment.
My approach is client-centred and collaborative, creating a space that feels safe, affirming, and non-judgemental.
I draw on elements of evidence-based approaches, including Existential and Narrative therapy, CBT, ACT, and DBT-informed skills, supporting both reflection and practical ways of coping.
My work is also informed by a trauma-informed and affirming perspective, with sensitivity to identity, relationships, and diverse lived experiences.
